About P247JMR
P247 Journal of Multidisciplinary Research provides a home for scholarly work across different fields while keeping the submission, review and publication process understandable for authors and accessible for readers.
P247 Journal of Multidisciplinary Research was created to provide researchers, academics and independent scholars with a practical platform for sharing meaningful work across disciplinary boundaries. We believe useful research does not always fit neatly inside a single subject area, institution or academic tradition.
Our journal therefore welcomes multidisciplinary scholarship while maintaining a structured editorial process. Authors are able to submit manuscripts through the journal website, receive a unique submission reference, follow the editorial process and, where a work is accepted, move through the remaining publication stages in an organized way.
The aim is simple: to make the publishing process clear enough for authors to understand, while presenting published research in a format that is professional, permanent and useful to readers.
P247JMR considers original scholarly work from a broad range of research areas. This includes journal articles, research papers and appropriate thesis or dissertation material submitted through the relevant journal pathway.
The multidisciplinary nature of the journal allows us to accommodate work from fields such as education, humanities, social sciences, management, science, technology, theology, health-related disciplines and other areas that fall within the journal's editorial scope.
Each submission remains the responsibility of its author. Authors are expected to submit original work, provide accurate information about authorship and affiliation, and confirm that publication does not conflict with institutional restrictions, copyright obligations or existing publication agreements.
Every manuscript begins with a formal submission. The information supplied by the author becomes part of the journal's editorial record and allows the editorial team to review the manuscript, communicate decisions and request revisions where necessary.
A submission may remain pending while it is being reviewed, be returned to the author for revision, be declined, or move forward after acceptance. Acceptance does not mean that every remaining publication step happens automatically without author involvement. Required declarations, licensing and publication requirements must still be completed before the final record is published.
This structured process helps create a clear record of what was submitted, when editorial decisions were made and which version of the work ultimately became the published record.
The journal is designed so that important submission, licensing and publication decisions are recorded within the publishing workflow rather than being handled only through informal email exchanges.
P247JMR is built around open-access research. Published material is made available so that readers can discover and access scholarly work without requiring a traditional journal subscription.
Where applicable, published works are presented under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). This approach allows material to be shared and reused while requiring appropriate attribution to the original author or authors.
Authors retain copyright in their work while granting the journal the permissions required to publish, display, archive and distribute the accepted manuscript in accordance with the journal's publication terms.
For accepted and completed publications, P247JMR uses a structured digital publishing workflow designed to create a durable academic record. Publication information may include the title, authorship, abstract, keywords, publication date, citation information, downloadable manuscript and Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
The journal's publishing workflow is connected with its Zenodo community for eligible publication records. This allows the final research file and related metadata to be deposited with a persistent record and DOI where the relevant publication requirements have been completed.
Article pages are also structured with scholarly citation metadata so that research information is presented in a format suitable for academic discovery systems and citation tools.
P247JMR also provides a dedicated pathway for eligible master's theses and doctoral dissertations. This part of the journal is intended for authors who wish to make a complete academic work available through an open research repository rather than converting the entire thesis into a conventional journal article.
Because university rules differ, thesis and dissertation authors must confirm that they have the authority to make the work publicly available and that no university embargo, repository agreement or other institutional restriction prevents publication.
Where the required permissions and publication steps are complete, the final record may include the author's name, university, degree, year, DOI and a downloadable research file within the journal's thesis repository.
The journal's editorial board includes scholars and professionals from different academic and professional backgrounds. Their role is to support the journal's multidisciplinary scope, academic standards and editorial development.
Editorial decisions are intended to be based on the submitted work and the journal's policies rather than on an author's status, nationality or personal background. At the same time, publication by P247JMR should not be interpreted as the journal guaranteeing the accuracy of every conclusion expressed by an author.
Authors remain responsible for the content of their work, including the accuracy of information, appropriate citation of sources, permissions for third-party material and compliance with relevant academic and institutional requirements.
We want authors to know what is happening with their work. The website is designed around a straightforward progression from submission to editorial review and, where accepted, publication.
Authors receive a submission reference and the editorial team can communicate acceptance, revision or rejection decisions through the journal workflow. Required publication agreements and any applicable publication charges are handled before the work is released as a completed scholarly record.
Our goal is not to make academic publishing unnecessarily complicated. It is to keep the process organized, documented and clear for everyone involved.
Readers can browse current and previously published research through the journal archive. Published records are organized with clear authorship, research-area and citation information so that individual papers can be located, read and referenced without unnecessary barriers.
As the journal grows, the archive is intended to serve as an expanding multidisciplinary collection rather than simply a list of disconnected documents. Each published record forms part of the journal's wider research catalogue.
P247JMR is still growing, and we are building the journal with long-term academic use in mind. That means giving attention not only to how a website looks, but also to the less visible parts of publishing: submission records, editorial decisions, metadata, licensing, citations, archiving and permanent research links.
We intend to continue improving those systems as the journal develops, while maintaining a publishing experience that remains understandable for authors and straightforward for readers.
